Tension Unit

The Ingal Tension Unit is a portable device used for the installation and maintenance of Flexfence Wire Rope Safety Barrier.

Comprising of a hydraulic hand pump and tension assembly, the unit can be used to increase or decrease the tension in the barrier system. During installation, the unit is used to tension the barrier system according to the ambient temperature conditions. Flexfence is installed using pre-stretched wire rope cable, meaning that the barrier tension is retained when impacted under normal conditions.

During repair, it may be necessary to release the tension in the barrier system.
