VicRoads Supply of 1600m Rub Rail
A popular tourist route, the Maryborough-Ballarat Road is popular with motorcycle riders. Containing sweeping bends, many of the roadside vegetation is protected by Ingal guardrail. In an effort to minimise potential impacts with the guardrail support posts, VicRoads has embarked on a wide-spread campaign of retro-fitting Ingal guardrail with Ingal rub rail. With no dismantling of the existing road barrier required, Ingal rub rail can be rapidly installed, reducing traffic disruption and is hot dipped galvanized for added durability.
