• Connection to End Terminals, Transitions & Crash Cushions: at 980mm Rail Height, Ezy-Guard HC is designed to connect to ET-SS, Trend Median, Ezy-Guard 4, Ezy-Guard HC, Ingal RBT and QuadGuard M10 enabling complete MASH TL-2 and TL-3 compliance while also providing MASH TL-4 compliance for the Intermediate Barrier.
• Narrow System Width: At just 245mm from Face of Rail to Back of Post and a 140mm x 60mm Post Profile, Ezy-Guard LDS minimises disturbance to the roadside area and conserves valuable formation width.
• Consideration for Utilities & Services: Ezy-Guard LDS is available with Surface Mounted Posts and where suitable Posts may be omitted for up to 4m. Engineered Ground Beam designs are available to suit Surface Mounted Posts.
• Suitable for Reduced Deflection: Deflection values for Ezy-Guard LDS may be reduced by decreasing Post Centres below the standard 2m.
• Multiple Speed Environments: Ezy-Guard LDS is ideally suited to all speed environments up to and including TL-3 and TL-4.
• Proximity to Hinge Point: Ezy-Guard LDS may also be used in TL-2 and TL-3 environments on the Hinge Point of a 1H:1V Batter Slope using Extended Length Soil Plated Posts with increased embedment.
• Verge or Median Application: While the majority of installations are located on the verge, Ezy-Guard LDS is ideal for median applications in a single-sided layout, offering effective containment for bidirectional traffic with a streamlined design.
• Rapid Installation: With fewer parts and no concrete required, the Ezy-Guard LDS system can be installed quickly, reducing labour costs and time on site.
• Consideration for Motorcyclists: The unique Z-Post used in all Ezy-Guard systems includes features such as rounded post edges and shielded posts to protect vulnerable road users. Ingal MPR may be installed with Ezy-Guard HC in addition to Ezy-Guard Post Caps.
