Ingal Civil is excited to announce the successful crash testing of the The TREND MEDIAN™ is a double-sided, re-directive/gating, and energy-absorbing end terminal designed for use with various longitudinal safety barriers. This versatile terminal can be utilized in both unidirectional and bidirectional traffic applications, making it suitable for roadside shoulders, median installations, and gore areas. Measuring 10.477 meters in length, the terminal features the Point of Need located at the third post. Its innovative design incorporates a slotted rail and shaper-fin arrangement. Upon end-on impact, a cutter-bolt shears through the slots, while the shaper-fins deform the rail, effectively absorbing the kinetic energy of the impacting vehicle and bringing it to a controlled stop. With a rail height of 787 mm, the TREND Median Terminal allows for a seamless transition into Ezy-Guard 4 and Ezy-Guard HC/LDS systems, enhancing safety on the roads.
