Ingal Civil is excited to announce the successful crash testing of the Ezy-Guard High Containment (HC) system, now compliant with the
European Standard EN1317-2, specifically the TB51 test. This test involved the containment and redirection of a 13,000 kg bus, which
impacted the barrier at a speed of 70 km/h and at an angle of 20 degrees. This represents a significant 37% increase in impact severity
compared to the MASH TL4 truck impact.
The results of this recent testing highlight the robust capabilities of the Ezy-Guard HC system, making it the only thrie-beam barrier in
Australia and New Zealand to be successfully tested to both MASH TL4 and EN1317-2 TB51 containment levels. The system not only
provides excellent vehicle occupant protection but also offers superior containment for larger vehicles, such as the TB51 bus.
