The 4F-T Flared End Terminal is a redirective, energy-absorbing guardrail end treatment tested to MASH TL3. The 4F-T is installed with a 1.22m flare, has a shorter barrier length and offers efficient hazard shielding for road users.

- Description DescriptionDescriptionThe 4F-T Flared End Terminal is a flared, single-sided guardrail end terminal designed for high-performance roadside installations including both approach and departure applications.Tested to MASH TL3 criteria, the 4F-T has a full system length of 10.48m and connects directly onto the Ingal RBT and Ezy-Guard guardrail.During head-on impacts the 4F-T dissipates energy via its built-in energy-absorbing technology. When subjected to side impacts it is designed to contain and redirect the impacting vehicle safely.It should be noted that the MASH specified 25° angle of impact is aligned tangentially with the intermediate barrier, making the actual angle of impact 31°.Features FeaturesFeatures• Installed with a 1.22m flare to reduce nuisance impacts• Point of Redirection 3.81m from Post 1 (at Post 4)• Shortest MASH TL3 Gating Guardrail End Terminal available• Post 1 has a 1.83m embedment, all others Posts at 1.02m• All components supplied in a Hot Dipped Galvanised finish ensuring a long service life• Utilises post spacings of 1.27m to enable a system length of just 10.48m• All 4F-T rails are 1.27m Net Lane Length in length and use the standard W-Beam profile to enable easy connection to Ezy-Guard systems• Each 4F-T Terminal is supplied with curved transition rail, all other 4F-T rails are straight
