- Description DescriptionThe MashFlex Wire Rope Safety Barrier provides MASH TL3 and MASH TL4 compliance while maintaining a minimal roadside footprint. Through the use of the proven Sigma Post which requires less concrete than all other systems, MashFlex is designed to provide class leading cost-effective protection. .Description DescriptionFeatures• Upgradable from Flexfence: Existing FlexFence installations may be upgraded to MashFlex. Existing runs of NCHRP-350 compliant TL3 or TL4 Flexfence can be upgraded while reusing the existing cables, post footings and anchor blocks.• Shallow Post Footing: with a Standard Post Footing of just 300mm x 600mm the MashFlex Post requires just 0.04 m3 of Concrete per Post. This is up to 50% less concrete than alternative systems.• Driven Post Footing: In locations where suitable Ground conditions exist, MashFlex Intermediate Posts may be installed using a Driven Sleeve.• Narrow System Width: With the slimline Sigma Profile, the MashFlex Post conserves valuable formation width.• Consideration for Utilities & Services: MashFlex is available with Surface Mounted Posts. Engineered Ground Beam designs are available to suit Surface Mounted Posts.• Suitable for Reduced Deflection: Deflection values for MashFlex may be reduced by decreasing Post Centres below the standard 3m.• Multiple Speed Environments: MashFlex is ideally suited to all speed environments up to and including MASH TL-4.• Verge or Median Application: MashFlex is ideal for Verge and Median applications in either single-sided or double-sided layouts, offering effective containment for bidirectional traffic with a streamlined design.• Rapid Installation: With fewer parts and less concrete required, MashFlex can be installed quickly, reducing labour costs and time on site.• Multiple Anchor Footing Options: The MashFlex Wire Rope Safety Barrier is available with a variety of Anchor Block designs.
