The Ingal Long Span Barrier (LSB) is a MASH-compliant longitudinal barrier system designed for bridges, culverts, and roadside applications where extended barriers without Posts are required. Tested to MASH TL3 and MASH TL4, the system delivers high containment with a maximum clear span of up to 16 metres, featuring strength, adaptability, and ease of installation in a modular design.

- Description DescriptionDescriptionThe Ingal LSB is a locally designed and manufactured steel modular barrier engineered to deliver exceptional performance for bridge, culvert, and roadside safety protection. Constructed from HDG Australian steel, it combines long-term durability with efficient installation and maintenance.Crash tested to MASH TL3 and complies with AS5100.2 Regular Performance Level, the system demonstrates reliable redirective containment for passenger vehicles and trucks up to 10000kg at 90 km/h.The LSB can be connected to Ezy-Guard 4 or Ezy-Guard HC using the Ingal RBT and terminated with an ET-SS or 4F-T End Terminal forming a fully MASH compliant safety barrier system.Features FeaturesFeatures• Compliant to MASH TL3 and MASH TL4• Complaint to AS5100.2 Low Performance Level• Accepted by the Austroads Safety Barrier Assessment Panel (ASBAP)• Designed in accordance with AS/NZS 3845.1:2015 or AS/NZS 3845.2:2017 Road Safety Barrier Systems & Devices• Robust design minimises damage. - What lengths is the system available in?View
We are currently approved for the 16m Long Span Barrier, with approvals for the remaining lengths (14m, 12m, 10m and 8m) coming soon.

- Does the system require component replacement after impact?View
No. Thanks to its modular design, only the damaged panels, posts or fasteners typically require replacement. Undamaged components can usually remain in place, making repairs faster and more cost-effective.
