Ingal MPR may be installed on all Ezy-Guard systems in addition to all Public Domain Intermediate W-Beam Guardrail systems.Description DescriptionFeatures• Connection to Intermediate Barrier systems using Z-Posts, C-Posts and U-Posts: Ingal MPR may be installed on all Ezy-Guard systems, Intermediate W-can youBeam systems using C-Posts or U Posts and in some instances may be installed on Thriebeam systems featuring Modified/Notched Blocks.• Motorcyclist Safety: Ingal MPR includes an under riding rail mounted on a spring bracket, which deflects upon impact, absorbing energy and redirecting the motorcyclist away from rigid posts and other roadside hazards.• Flexible Installation: The symmetric mounting bracket allows for easy installation on both sides of the carriageway, ensuring consistent rail height even on uneven terrain. This system does not require modifications to existing vehicle barriers.• Cost-Efficiency: The system is designed with a minimal number of components, making it both cost-effective and easy to install, while maintaining its protective functionality.• Durable Design: The Ingal MPR is made from hot-rolled steel and hot-dip galvanized in accordance with AS/NZS 4680 standards, ensuring long life in various weather conditions.• EN-1317-8 Level 1: Ingal MPR has been rigorously tested to meet the requirements of EN-1317-8 achieving Level 1 results. In EN-1317-8 grading, Level 1 reflects the least severe impact upon the motorcyclist whereas Level 2 involves a more severe impact being transferred to the motorcyclist.• MASH Testing: The MASH standard does not allow for testing of Motorcycle Protection Rail systems however, Ezy-Guard systems have been successfully tested to MASH standards while Ingal MPR has been installed on the systems.Description DescriptionAcceptanceIngal MPR is fully compliant with AS/NZS 3845 Parts 1 and 2 and has been recommended for acceptance by the Austroads Safety Barrier Assessment Panel.
