• Versatile Mounting Options: The system can be deck or side mounted to the bridge structure, providing flexibility in design and installation while conserving lane width.
• Design Flexibility: The Elevated Barrier may be configured to suit 1m Post Centres (TL4 containment) or 2m Post Centres TL2 or TL3 containment). In addition Custom length Posts are available if required.
• Simple to Maintain: By utilising standard Base Plated Ezy-Guard HC Posts, repair of an impacted system is usually limited to removing relevant fasteners, damaged Posts & Rails, then replacing said damaged components with no cutting or drilling required.
• Minimal Load Transfer: The barrier is designed to minimize load transfer into bridge structures during an impact, reducing the risk of structural damage and the need for extensive repairs.
• Seamless Transition: The system seamlessly integrates with In Ground Ezy-Guard systems or may transition to an Ingal RBT, ET-SS, TREND Median or QuadGuard Crash Cushion.
• Rapid Installation: With fewer parts and no special tools required, the Elevated Barrier system can be installed quickly, reducing labour costs and time on site.
• Consideration for Motorcyclists & Pedestrians: The unique Z-Post used in all Elevated Barrier systems includes features such as rounded post edges and shielded posts to protect vulnerable road users. Post Caps are available to suit all Posts while Ingal MPR may also be installed.
