Trailing Terminal

The Trailing Terminal, also known as a departure terminal, is designed to anchor W Beam barriers in situations where the terminal cannot be impacted from the approach direction. It provides a simple and compact anchorage solution and is approved for use in jurisdictions that permit non crashworthy departure terminals.

The system is manufactured to public domain specifications and is used when the terminal end is outside the clear zone or where site geometry prevents the possibility of an end on impact. It maintains barrier tension and ensures the required containment level is delivered throughout the length of the connected barrier system.
